For these Chesterbrook homeowners, an extensive home addition and renovation offered the opportunity to rethink how their home could better support everyday life. Replacing an enclosed three-season porch, the new addition extends across the rear of the home, creating space for a generous kitchen, living area, butler’s pantry, laundry and mudroom, and additional garage.

Inside, a reconfigured first floor brings greater openness and connection, with the former living room transformed into a dining room. A welcoming breakfast nook, warm wood tones, soft neutrals, and considered details bring character and continuity throughout, creating a home designed for the way they live today and for years to come.
