The owners of this newer townhouse originally aimed to make their first floor more friendly to hosting guests. Done and done. However, this generous space in Graduate Hospital also boasted three floors. Why not take the party to the roof? In addition to remodeling the first floor, we expanded the third floor to create additional space for entertaining.
When this work presented the opportunity to create a pilot house for better roof deck access, we knew it was meant to be. The original goal for the first floor was to cultivate a more functional space for entertaining. Together with our client, we managed to create a multi-story experience in Southwest Philly that would feel right at home on the West Coast.
